Creative Director

Maria Bastasch is a multidisciplinary designer and artist who curates spaces focused on the intersection of celebration and wellbeing. She utilizes her background in critical theory, performance art, and hospitality to curate transformative spaces that ask larger questions. With themes from social impact wine programs, to reimagining bars with Disco Mary pop-up inside of the Columbia room 2021, to the most recent, Playhaus.

Art Director

Ashley Jaye Williams is a multidisciplinary artist who works primarily in painting, murals, sculpture, clothing and art installations, but they also have experience in printmaking, performance art, and video. They are interested in the lifelong development of a truly multidisciplinary art practice.

Anthony Le is a multidisciplinary artist and identifies as Vietnamese American and nonbinary. They work in painting, printmaking, sculpture and fashion, exploring the joy of nonconformity.

Daryle Locko is a multimedia artist whose work reflects people and his thoughts—doodling faces and everyday objects. He often adds poetic and philosophical fragments to provoke deeper thinking. Racial and queer themes are common themes–reflecting the struggles he faces being Black and gay.

Marifel Bermudez (she/her) is a multidisciplinary artist with a focus of mixed media textiles. 

Alternatively known as Marivella or Mune— she is a Filipino American artist that works with textiles in sculptural manner, tattoos, and creates large scale abstract murals.

My name is Desto G , I’m an artist and educator with a passion for building creative spaces. Thought my decade long career in the arts I’ve helped to cultivate over 20 art installations , in 6 states and 2 countries. I have produced over a dozen performances employing dancers , clowns and acrobats just to name a few. As an educator my work with the Anacostia community museum placed me in from of hundreds of students and knowledge seekers. Play has always been a core part of both practices in the artist when speaking about difficult topics I found using playful colors and youthful symbols as a loop hole into the connection. With education I found games as a way to breakdown complex ideas. Creativity works as a window into the unknown.

Talyah in a multi-disciplinary artist, ceramics and psychosomatics educator and Western folk herbalist from Upstate New York. She currently makes + teaches art in Baltimore Maryland while operating her healing + visual arts company Amoona Botanicals.
